POSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead will be responsible for overseeing the private lesson sales operations in a manner that maximizes guest service and provides excellent control of revenue. This includes assisting the Adult Manager with training, managing and evaluating lesson sales staff, scheduling coordination, sales reports, coordination of reservations, handling complaints and consistent problem solving. The lead will oversee all guest interaction and strives to ensure guest satisfaction. The Private Lesson Center Lead will be responsible for overseeing and closing the POS system nightly and providing accurate, balanced reporting to Revenue Accounting each night.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Assist the on-snow supervisor to train, supervise and evaluate 4-6 full and part time daily desk employees and follow through with disciplinary action when needed.
  • Organize information necessary to assist in assigning and scheduling of private lessons.
  • Be current on weather and snow conditions, special events and promotions in SRS and Winter Park Resort.
  • Participate in each type of class offered to fully understand on-hill operations.
  • Learn and maintain an excellent working knowledge of the Resort Pos system, RTP, including sales, discounts, comps, POS Billing, voids, refunds, payment types and other necessary skills.
  • Book private lessons through the system to accurately schedule private lesson instructors according to availability. Print reports to assist on-snow supervisors in introducing private lesson students with individual instructors.
  • Process ticket sales, collect payment and give correct change.
  • Get signed WPR release forms from all customers and file appropriately.
  • Supervise the opening of computer terminals, setting up cash drawers and initial stock loading.
  • Verify daily sales reports.
  • Provide guest assistance, particularly as related to ticket and lesson problems.
  • Professionally handle guest complaints and help solve guest problems.
  • Approve credit charges and check cashing in assigned area
  • Supervise the deposit of all monies.
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of the computerized ticketing system and be able to troubleshoot problems.
  • Oversee daily communication with on-hill supervisors.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Other Duties:
  • Assist in other areas of Ski and Ride School such as scheduling, supporting agent and administration as necessary.

EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
  • Two (2) years in ticket sales or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service and communications/public sales
  • Ski and Snowboard School experience desirable
  • Accounting and computer experience necessary
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Office Environment:
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
